Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategy for trading and analytics platforms.
- Lead, mentor, and support the career development of QA engineers.
- Design test automation frameworks focused on performance, reliability, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with trading desks, users, and development teams to understand business requirements.
- Develop performance test packs for latency analysis and capacity planning.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and tools.
- Participate in UAT processes with users and stakeholders for front-to-back initiatives.
- Analyze incidents proactively and implement preventive measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or the stated B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech qualification.
- 10–12 years of software QA experience strictly in financial services.
- Expert knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment.
- Proficiency in Python or Java.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab and Jenkins/GitLab CI.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML/GenAI-backed test practices.
- Experience testing APIs and data pipelines.
- Understanding of global financial markets, trading systems, investment banking, capital markets, and equity trading markets.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or equivalent.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as MiFID II and Reg NMS is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, strategic-thinking, risk-awareness, and quality-focused skills.
