Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Java APIs using Spring Boot on cloud platforms.
- Define and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and promote API development best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide developers while fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
- Oversee CI/CD pipeline implementation, automated testing, and cloud deployments.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance in cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide hands-on support.
- Monitor system health, optimize resource usage, and manage cloud costs.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architecture and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Java backend/API development.
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and SOA applications using Java and Spring technologies.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience mentoring and guiding junior developers and testers as a lead developer.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience and certifications in cloud technology, including Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
- Experience leading technical teams or projects and strong understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture, cloud-native development and deployment, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
