Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end full-stack solutions using Java and modern UI frameworks.
- Develop and support backend services and REST or GraphQL APIs, including authentication, authorization, integrations, and error handling.
- Build responsive and accessible frontend experiences with reusable UI components.
- Integrate applications with data platforms, data services, and event streams to expose reliable datasets and metrics.
- Improve application data quality, observability, lineage, and governance in collaboration with data teams.
- Apply code reviews, unit and integration testing, CI/CD, performance tuning, and production support practices.
- Contribute to system design and non-functional requirements for security, resiliency, scalability, and latency.
- Troubleshoot production issues across UI, services, and data interactions and implement sustainable fixes and automation.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools while validating generated outputs through review, testing, and secure engineering practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 2 years of applied experience.
- Significant professional full-stack software delivery experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and enterprise backend development, including Spring or Spring Boot.
- Experience building microservices and well-designed REST APIs.
- Frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue, plus HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git.
- Experience using authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, secure coding, secrets management, and production readiness.
- Strong problem-solving, cross-team collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, Databricks, Hive, Airflow, data governance, OpenTelemetry, Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent technologies.
- Domain exposure to loan origination, loan servicing, or regulated financial workflows is helpful but not required.
