Base Salary
$141k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering architecture design reviews.
- Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews.
- Mentor and grow engineers within the team.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to create integrated solutions.
- Improve engineering processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Build services that meet high availability and latency standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems.
- Backend service experience in languages such as Java, Scala, Go, or C#.
- Experience with ElasticSearch or other search engine technologies.
- Familiarity with real-time streaming technologies like Kafka or ActiveMQ.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
- Knowledge of Golang, GraphQL, and TypeScript is a plus.
