Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software components and applications.
- Build and maintain data integration and ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Design data workflows and jobs, and troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through testing and documentation.
- Participate in team discussions, provide solutions to work-related problems, and contribute independently as a subject-matter expert.
- Share knowledge and provide best-practice guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Proficiency in IBM InfoSphere DataStage and related data integration and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of data workflows and job design within data integration platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automating data processing tasks.
- 15 years of full-time education.
