Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end software solutions for the UniFi Fabrics platform across frontend workflows, backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, identity, permissions, provisioning, orchestration, observability, and administration.
  • Identify user needs, operational pain points, and product gaps and translate them into improved software services.
  • Use AI coding agents for implementation, testing, refactoring, documentation, debugging, and iteration while applying sound engineering judgment.
  • Collaborate with product, UX/UI, frontend, backend, mobile, cloud, QA/AQA, and DevOps teams.
  • Ensure systems are secure, reliable, scalable, maintainable, cloud-native, and aligned with platform requirements.
  • Improve AI-assisted engineering workflows, including specification-driven development, test generation, code review, production readiness, and release confidence.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Ability to build and ship production software using Go or TypeScript.
  • Strong product taste and UX judgment, including the ability to simplify complex workflows, propose practical wireframes, and make tradeoffs.
  • Experience designing and implementing APIs, backend services, data models, integrations, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, or workflow migrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, monitoring, debugging, security, and production operations.
  • Proficiency with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent AI coding agents.
  • Experience with AI-native development practices such as specification-driven development, prompt and context engineering, agentic coding, AI-assisted testing, debugging, and code review.
  • Strong ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous product and technical environments.
  • Preferred experience with enterprise software or identity systems.
  • Preferred familiarity with AWS, containers, serverless architecture, event-driven systems, relational databases, NoSQL, or message queues.
  • Preferred knowledge of IAM, OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, RBAC, audit logs, compliance, Zero Trust, provisioning, orchestration, user lifecycle, or secure enterprise workflows.
  • Founder, early startup engineer, product engineer, or 0-to-1 builder experience is a strong plus.
  • Applicants must live in Sweden and hold a valid work permit at the time of application.
