Responsibilities
- Monitor, triage, and respond to alerts across cloud security and endpoint protection tools.
- Investigate anomalies in cloud and endpoint environments to identify root causes.
- Support IT with identity and access management and endpoint security.
- Continuously improve detection and response to security events.
- Design and implement improvements in security controls and workflows.
- Drive data classification and data loss prevention initiatives.
- Build automation for security alerting and response workflows.
- Collaborate with SRE and IT on security and infrastructure improvements.
- Support secure development practices with engineering teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Security Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in at least one security domain, preferably cloud security.
- Experience with AWS or GCP in a SaaS environment.
- Comfortable working across cloud, endpoint, IAM, and DLP areas.
- Ability to script or build lightweight tools for automation.
- High appetite for technology and AI with a curiosity for its applications.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with frameworks like NIST or SOC 2 is a plus.
