Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for global regulatory reporting technology.
- Build and maintain Java services for large-scale development projects.
- Develop scalable and low-latency systems that process large data sets with bi-temporal support.
- Work with SQL databases and enterprise middleware including Solace, IBM MQ, and Apache Active MQ.
- Coordinate change across multiple groups and collaborate with technical and non-technical professionals.
- Support regulatory, trade, and transaction reporting solutions.
- Contribute to quality, innovation, teamwork, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a software engineer working on large-scale development projects.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and React.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases and building Java services.
- Experience with scalable and low-latency systems and large data sets with bi-temporal support.
- Working knowledge of Solace, IBM MQ, or Apache Active MQ middleware.
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to engage and coordinate change across multiple groups.
- Experience with regulatory reporting, trade and transaction reporting, and Agile environments.
- Two to three years of product manager experience.
- Understanding of risk and financial products is a plus.
