Base Salary
$107k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, review, test, release, and deploy strategic applications for business-prioritized requirements.
- Develop hands-on solutions using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, REST APIs, and single-page application technologies.
- Participate in application lifecycle activities, agile sprints, CI/CD activities, production releases, and technical architecture reviews.
- Work with business users, project managers, product managers, quality engineers, and other technology specialists to analyze requirements and implement solutions.
- Triage technical issues and help lead teams toward effective problem resolution.
- Build configurable and extensible solutions while supporting application quality, correctness, and production adoption.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of development experience with Spring and Kafka.
- Experience with systems analysis and programming of software applications and with successfully managing and implementing projects.
- Deep understanding of microservices and microservices best practices; Spring Boot microservices experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL database, performance tuning, and Java application integration.
- Experience with Gradle, Git, modern testing frameworks such as Cucumber and Spring, and source-control tools.
- Experience with mobile application design and architecture disciplines.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Harness and LightSpeed Enterprise is desired.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot for development is listed as a relevant skill.
