Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade RPA solutions using Blue Prism, UiPath, and Power Automate Desktop.
- Build automations with Object Studio, Process Studio, work queues, exception handling, reusable components, alerting, and monitoring.
- Integrate automations with SAP ECC/S4HANA, web applications, Outlook, Excel, third-party APIs, Blue Prism API, and Web Services.
- Develop database interactions with SQL Server and Oracle for data extraction, transformation, and logging.
- Write supporting utilities and scripts using C#.NET, VBA, Python, VB, and SQL.
- Implement OCR, Microsoft Copilot automation, and Generative AI/LLM concepts in intelligent automation solutions.
- Prepare PDDs, SDDs, process maps, Bot Charters, user manuals, and other governance documentation.
- Analyze processes and feasibility, assess expected ROI, manage bot execution through Control Room, and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT, infrastructure, and security teams to gather requirements and meet compliance standards.
- Manage tasks and defects through JIRA and ServiceNow and support UAT, post-production validation, and hypercare.
- Provide technical guidance and code reviews for junior RPA developers and contribute to CoE standards, libraries, and governance frameworks.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of 7+ years in RPA development.
- Hands-on proficiency with Blue Prism v6.x and v7.x is mandatory; certification is preferred.
- Working knowledge of UiPath and/or Power Automate Cloud and Desktop.
- Strong experience with SAP automation, web-based automation, queue-based processing, and enterprise exception-handling patterns.
- Proficiency in SQL using SQL Server and/or Oracle for automation data handling.
- Experience with Blue Prism API and Web Services integration.
- Hands-on scripting experience with C#.NET, VBA, or Python.
- Strong documentation skills covering PDD, SDD, Bot Charter, and As-Is/To-Be process documentation.
- Familiarity with JIRA and ServiceNow for project and incident management.
- Experience with OCR tools and intelligent document processing is preferred.
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot automation and Generative AI/LLM concepts in an automation context is preferred.
- Knowledge of HTML5, advanced Excel including macros and VBA, and experience in a GCC or shared-services environment are preferred.
- Blue Prism or UiPath Developer core certification is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
