Base Salary
$180k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-assisted workflows connecting Figma, prototypes, and production frontend code.
- Partner with Product Design on patterns, components, and workflows that translate design work into shipped product.
- Evolve the Thumbprint design system with machine-readable documentation, MCP-friendly metadata, and prototyping-platform integration.
- Collaborate with Developer Experience and Frontend Infrastructure on AI agent foundations and the web stack.
- Engage engineers and designers through office hours, feedback gathering, prioritization, and high-impact improvements.
- Prototype and evaluate emerging AI development tools and recommend which tools to adopt and scale.
Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
- Demonstrated experience as a frontend engineer building production product surfaces.
- Deep hands-on fluency with TypeScript, React, and surrounding build, test, and deployment tools.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Experience building tools or infrastructure adopted by engineers or non-engineers, including sound onboarding, documentation, and feedback practices.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with designers, PMs, and partner engineering teams.
- Design system experience is welcome but not required.
