Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable code for the DataOps platform.
- Own the development of core features and services from conception through completion with minimal oversight.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure systems remain adaptable to evolving business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead role owning delivery of mission-critical systems.
- Exceptional hands-on proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Python.
- Deep understanding of high-performance SQL and NoSQL database design.
- Experience architecting and scaling high-throughput SaaS platforms or complex data-intensive systems.
- Experience building reliable asynchronous data pipelines using message brokers such as Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments; AWS expertise is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Data-domain experience in areas such as ETL/ELT, Reverse ETL, observability, or data cataloging is preferred.
