Base Salary
$135k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, build, and maintain tools for network deployment and operation.
- Develop automated methods to detect, mitigate, and remediate network events.
- Identify issues affecting multiple teams, create execution plans, and drive cross-functional projects.
- Improve team productivity by identifying and addressing workflow bottlenecks.
- Lead and mentor team members and partner teams in developing solutions.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and ramp-up of new team members.
- Drive requirements with vendors and third parties for internal tooling efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building software for network infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Python, Perl, or C++.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Experience with routers, switches, and load balancers, plus knowledge of network routing protocols.
- Experience designing and implementing network operating systems.
- Experience debugging issues in custom code.
- Preferred: experience with responsible and ethical AI practices, AI skill development such as prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration, and integrating AI tools to improve workflows.
- Preferred: knowledge of Django, PHP, and Shell.
Benefits
- Base salary of $135,000/year to $191,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
