Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure AWS GovCloud platform capabilities and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing, security scanning, compliance checks, and deployment controls.
- Provision and configure infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and related automation.
- Deploy and operate Docker/OCI containers and Kubernetes workloads, including Amazon EKS.
- Implement security automation, vulnerability management, secrets detection, compliance validation, and secure software delivery controls.
- Support AI-enabled applications and securely integrate approved AI and LLM services such as Amazon Bedrock.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, alerting, incident response, and reliability improvements.
- Develop Python, Bash, and PowerShell automation and troubleshoot production infrastructure, applications, networking, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with software, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, architecture, and mission teams while producing documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, software engineering, or related technical roles.
- Hands-on AWS experience, with AWS GovCloud experience highly desirable.
- Experience with Docker/OCI containers, Kubernetes, and preferably Amazon EKS.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or comparable tools.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable technologies.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, automated testing, artifact management, monitoring, logging, alerting, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating security capabilities into CI/CD and cloud environments, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, IAM, and automated security controls.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML, generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs, model inference, and cloud infrastructure for AI-enabled applications.
- Experience deploying, integrating, operating, or supporting AI/ML or AI-enabled applications in cloud or containerized environments.
- Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, networking, encryption, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
- U.S. citizenship with eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include federal or DoD experience, AWS GovCloud, RMF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, DISA STIGs, Zero Trust, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Helm, Argo CD, Flux, observability tools, software supply-chain security, AWS Secrets Manager, AWS KMS, HashiCorp Vault, and relevant professional certifications.
