Responsibilities
- Execute performance test scenarios based on user stories, requirements, and application architecture.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and other automation frameworks.
- Design and implement automation solutions for performance, scalability, and resiliency validation.
- Create and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Groovy scripts for automated test execution, reporting, and orchestration.
- Manage performance tests in BlazeMeter, including scheduling, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to development and engineering teams.
- Track test execution and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop scripts, write code, automate testing processes, and recommend delivery-pipeline improvements.
- Follow performance engineering standards and align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Performance Engineering, Test Automation, Software Development, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and executing performance tests with Apache JMeter and managing tests with BlazeMeter.
- Experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and developing Groovy automation scripts.
- Strong Java programming and object-oriented design experience, including APIs, multithreading, Spring Boot, and enterprise application frameworks.
- Experience with Python for automation, test engineering, scripting, data processing, and tooling.
- Familiarity with Git or Bitbucket and understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and Continuous Testing practices.
- Experience integrating JMeter and BlazeMeter into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with React development for modern web applications and dashboards.
- Ability to troubleshoot application and performance issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of load, stress, endurance/soak, scalability, capacity-planning, performance-tuning, and bottleneck-analysis concepts.
- Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and quality-review skills.
- Preferred experience with enterprise-scale distributed systems, cloud-based applications, observability tools, high-volume financial-services applications, and resiliency testing.
