Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized CIAM software solutions.
- Build and improve IAM capabilities covering identity management, authentication, authorization, identity federation, and single sign-on.
- Develop ForgeRock solutions using PingGateway, PingAM, PingIDM, and PingDS, including scripted routes and authentication tree nodes.
- Design extensible IAM APIs for integration with internal and external applications.
- Implement custom authentication trees, adaptive authentication, step-up authentication, and integrations with threat sensors.
- Implement data links and integrations across LDAP/LDAPS, JDBC, SOAP, HTTPS, and other data sources.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and compliance teams to embed identity-first principles into the DevSecOps lifecycle.
- Apply secure coding and unit testing practices, participate in code reviews, manage risk and controls, and guide collaborative technical assignments.
Requirements
- Broad IAM engineering expertise covering IAM tooling, products, protocols, taxonomy, identity management, authentication, authorization, and identity federation.
- Experience with single sign-on, OAuth2, OIDC, PKI, PSD2 SCA, and possession-based authentication.
- ForgeRock development experience with PingGateway, PingAM, PingIDM, and PingDS.
- JavaScript coding experience for PingGateway scripted routes and PingAM authentication tree nodes.
- Hands-on coding experience with JavaScript or Java and experience designing extensible IAM APIs.
- Working knowledge of PingAM custom authentication trees, downstream API integration with threat sensors such as ThreatMetrix and BioCatch, adaptive authentication, and step-up authentication.
- Experience implementing PingGateway SSO routes, dynamic proxies, filter chains, or PingIDM-based data links is highly desirable.
- Experience partnering with security, product, engineering, and compliance teams is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform complex analysis, communicate complex information, influence stakeholders, and manage risk and controls.
