Base Salary

$110k - $138k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain production software primarily using C++, Qt, and scripting languages.
  • Contribute to software architecture, technical design, and technology selection.
  • Build, package, and deploy software through automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate machine learning models into production software.
  • Work with Product, QA, UX, and Regulatory teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Deploy and optimize applications on dedicated Linux-based medical systems.
  • Design software with cybersecurity, reliability, and regulatory compliance in mind.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior and junior developers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Computer Science and six years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing and deploying software with Linux.
  • Proficiency in C++ 17 or newer.
  • Experience developing applications with the Qt Framework, including GUI, multithreading, signals and slots, and custom widgets.
  • Working knowledge of Python and scripting languages.
  • Understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with Docker, TeamCity or equivalent CI/CD platforms, and Git.
  • Experience writing automated unit and integration tests, such as with GoogleTest.
  • Strong debugging, performance optimization, and refactoring skills.
  • Experience with code reviews and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles for software systems.
  • Familiarity with Secure Boot, TPM, secure key management, and Linux system security.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented, communicative, and collaborative approach.
