Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions across AWS and Azure.
- Automate cloud infrastructure and build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps practices.
- Develop and evolve DevOps toolchains, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment automation.
- Design and implement serverless, Kubernetes-based, and event-driven cloud applications.
- Apply secure authentication and authorization mechanisms and cloud security best practices.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Guide technical decisions, enforce development quality practices, and conduct code and team reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and development teams in DevOps, automation, and software engineering practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role focused on AWS or Azure infrastructure automation and DevOps.
- Proficiency in Python, Golang, or JavaScript, with experience using at least two programming languages and Terraform.
- Experience with serverless architectures, Kubernetes custom resources, operators, controllers, and event-driven systems.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols and models including ABAC, RBAC, JWT, SAML, AAD, and OIDC.
- Expertise in software architecture, development, systems testing, distributed systems, scalability, concurrency, cloud networking, and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
- Experience with GitOps frameworks such as Flux or ArgoCD and version-control tools such as GitHub.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, mentor developers, communicate complex concepts, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and practical applications.
