Responsibilities
- Guide the technical direction for Neighborhoods mobile experiences across Cash App and Square.
- Lead strategic, cross-organizational mobile workstreams to redefine local commerce.
- Drive architecture and execution for seamless integration of features in Cash App.
- Stay hands-on in iOS development using SwiftUI and related technologies.
- Partner with backend, web, and Android engineers to ship high-quality features.
- Work cross-functionally with product managers and designers to define product scope.
- Use AI tools to enhance feature development and improve engineering workflows.
- Mentor engineers and raise technical standards across the team.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in iOS engineering design and implementation.
- Deep experience with Swift and Objective-C.
- Experience guiding iOS architecture with organizational impact.
- Proven ability to lead complex mobile product initiatives from problem framing to delivery.
- Strong collaboration skills across team and organizational boundaries.
- Track record of shaping technical direction and mentoring engineers.
