Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust software solutions for German and South African clients.
- Build backend services, REST APIs, and integration layers using object-oriented design principles and established design patterns.
- Write readable, efficient, testable code and deliver thoroughly tested and debugged software.
- Contribute to code reviews, performance tuning, and CI/CD practices.
- Work across software engineering disciplines and help improve team engineering standards.
- Apply AI agent-based development methods and tools throughout the software development process.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams directly with customers.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in computer science or a comparable discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, Spring, Kotlin, Maven, Gradle, and JUnit.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles, established design patterns, backend development, APIs, and integration layers.
- Experience working with agile methods such as Scrum or Design Thinking.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive, pragmatic, team-oriented approach.
