Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery workshops and architecture discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.
Design end-to-end integrations across on-premise and cloud systems using API-led, event-driven, batch, and real-time patterns.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, reliable, and documented technical designs.
Lead the design and implementation of APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
Define error handling, monitoring, logging, alerting, API lifecycle, versioning, and documentation strategies.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to integration developers.
Review solution designs and perform architecture assurance.
Support data governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot complex integration issues and lead root-cause analysis.
Evaluate integration technologies, tools, and vendors and ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in systems integration or enterprise architecture.
Proven experience leading technical workshops in enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Python.
Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, messaging, and event streaming.
Experience with JSON, XML, HTTP, AMQP, and Kafka.
Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, TLS, and API security.
Strong experience with iPaaS, integration platforms, and middleware.
Experience producing formal technical design documentation.
Ability to work US hours on an ad hoc basis when required for project delivery.
Desirable: experience integrating CLM, ELM, matter management, eSignature, ERP, and finance systems.
Desirable: experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Desirable: legal technology experience and TOGAF or similar architecture certification.
