Base Salary
$90k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases.
- Conduct rigorous manual and automated testing across frontend and backend systems.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Validate backend services and integrations with API testing tools.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
- Perform regression testing for new releases and ensure backward compatibility.
- Collaborate with engineers to expand test coverage and integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for QA best practices.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in software quality assurance with senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in test plan creation, execution, and bug reporting.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Solid experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing within release cycles.
- Understanding of backend systems, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams.
