Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate business-critical APIs and services.
- Mentor junior engineers and communicate effectively with TPM and Product.
- Write maintainable and scalable code with thorough testing.
- Architect reusable code and libraries for cross-team use.
- Propose and implement solutions to scale services.
- Utilize monitoring tools to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- Lead technical discussions during architecture meetings and design reviews.
- Champion industry best practices in software development.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members as a domain expert.
Requirements
- MS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- 6+ years of software development experience in high-performance backend systems.
- Expertise in Kotlin, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Elastic Search and caching systems.
- Familiarity with REST, gRPC, or GraphQL request processing.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure design.
- Experience with deployment tooling and observability tools.
