Base Salary
$124k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own software integration and simulation environments across the flight program and serve as the primary technical point of contact for hardware-in-the-loop functionality.
- Decompose requirements and Design Reference Missions into detailed test plans and procedures, and develop and release software Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
- Design, develop, execute, and post-process software tests and support requirements sell-off.
- Enhance simulation platforms or track fidelity risks to ensure they support required testing.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive hardware-in-the-loop and software discrepancy reports to closure.
- Lead initiatives shaping the Software Integration and Simulation function across programs and portfolios.
- Provide hands-on technical work while overseeing software development and testing across the program.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a directly related non-U.S. equivalent.
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- At least 3 years of direct experience with system-level satellite software integration and testing.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and testing simulation platforms, including hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, or emulators.
- At least 1 year of experience with autonomy, guidance navigation and controls, mission analysis, mission operations, satellite flight software, or ground software.
- At least 1 year of experience leading engineering development teams and personnel.
- An active U.S. Secret clearance or a clearance active within the past 24 months; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include 9 or more years of system-level software integration and test experience, satellite flight or ground software development, OPIR or remote-sensing mission experience, broad satellite systems knowledge, and an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Must satisfy the company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process and meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. Person.
