Base Salary
$180k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D and production software development for next-generation radar products.
- Support software system integration on mostly commercial off-the-shelf hardware.
- Support deployed software capabilities used by U.S. and international customers.
- Work full-time on-site in the El Segundo, California office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional object-oriented software development experience.
- Extensive or advanced experience with Python.
- Experience with Agile lifecycle processes, Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams.
- Solid understanding of and extensive experience developing software using Linux.
- U.S. Person status is required to access U.S.-only data systems.
- Preferred: experience with hardware/software integration and test and verification/validation of high-TRL systems.
- Preferred: production-level software development and deployment, including DevOps, DevSecOps, and/or CI/CD using modern FOSS/COTS toolsets.
- Preferred: software development tools for linting, code coverage, code quality and security scanning, and documentation generation.
- Preferred: experience with software and hardware networks, CUDA/JAX, software-defined radios such as Ettus, near-real-time systems, C++, Rust, NodeJS, Java, Go, Git, and containers such as Docker or Podman.
