Base Salary
$92k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new and existing software applications.
- Rapidly develop, integrate, test, and deploy software capabilities using modern technologies and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and address software and system problems throughout the system lifecycle.
- Develop embedded, multithreaded, and real-time software for mission-critical applications where applicable.
- Document, capture, and present software architectural components using modeling or diagramming tools.
Requirements
- Level 2 requires a STEM bachelor's degree and 2 years of related engineering experience, or a STEM master's degree and entry-level related engineering experience.
- Level 3 requires a STEM bachelor's degree and 5 years of related engineering experience, a STEM master's degree and 3 years of related engineering experience, or a STEM PhD and 1 year of related engineering experience.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, embedded system programming, object-oriented programming, software integration, and testing.
- Experience with some of C, C++, Java, and Python.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with a recent background investigation or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program access through required Program Access Requests.
- Preferred experience includes multithreaded real-time software for flight-critical, safety-critical, medical, or mission-critical applications.
- Preferred experience includes VxWorks, Integrity, Real-Time Embedded Linux, Docker containers, and RHEL 8.10 or later.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with employees and management at all levels.
- U.S. citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
