Base Salary
$123k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate MATLAB LiDAR algorithms into high-performance GPU implementations using C++ and CUDA.
- Create LiDAR software models and test datasets for software-in-the-loop testing.
- Create software documentation using UML.
- Work with LiDAR and related hardware in a laboratory environment.
- Communicate progress and results to a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related experience, or a master's degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 4 years.
- Strong programming skills in C++.
- Experience with GPGPU frameworks such as CUDA or OpenCL.
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Preferred: experience with LiDAR and point-cloud data processing, centroid and pose estimation, sensor fusion for object identification and tracking, light-field cameras, or stereoscopic cameras.
- U.S. citizenship is required for positions requiring a government clearance or certain other restricted positions.
