Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new and existing software applications.
- Use modern technologies and practices to develop, integrate, test, and deploy software capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve software and system problems throughout the system lifecycle.
- Document, capture, and present software architectural components using modeling or diagramming tools as applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 10 years, or a PhD and 8 years.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, embedded system programming, object-oriented programming, software integration, and testing.
- Experience with some of C, C++, Java, and Python.
- Experience with Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, Black Duck, or similar DevOps tools.
- Ability to transfer and maintain a final adjudicated U.S. government Top Secret clearance that is in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial and subsequent Special Access Program access through Program Access Requests.
- Preferred experience includes multi-threaded software for flight-critical, safety-critical, medical, or mission-critical applications.
- Preferred experience includes VxWorks, Integrity, Real-Time Embedded Linux, Docker containers, and RHEL 8.10 or later.
- Preferred qualifications include an active in-scope Top Secret clearance, current SAP access, code-based defect identification, and understanding of embedded software within larger systems.
Benefits
- Primary base salary range is $177,000.00-$265,600.00 annually, with potential overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off.
- Relocation assistance may be available.
- The role is full-time and on-site in San Diego, California, or El Segundo, California, with no remote, hybrid, or telework option.
- Travel up to 25% of the time may be required.
- The opportunity is contingent on program funding, with start dates determined after funding confirmation.
