Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop moderately complex automated test scripts.
- Execute automated test cases and report results.
- Identify, document, and independently track software defects to resolution using tools such as JIRA.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
- Maintain and update automated test scripts as application changes and enhancements are released.
- Follow and recommend automation best practices.
- Provide guidance to associate automation quality engineers.
- Perform manual testing when needed.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of overall testing experience, including 2–3 years of automation testing experience or equivalent automation training.
- Core proficiency in Python programming is required.
- Strong requirements-analysis experience is required.
- Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Collibra DQ, Karate, JUnit, and TestNG, along with debugging skills, is required.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git is required.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks is required or expected.
- Hands-on SQL and database-testing experience is required.
- Experience with JIRA or similar management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including analyzing test results and identifying issues.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Design and estimation technique proficiency is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are preferred.
- Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins is a plus.
- Experience with UI/API functional testing is helpful.
- AWS or Python certification is a differentiator.
- Experience creating unit-testing frameworks using Python is a differentiator.
