Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Lead development of full-stack features spanning React UI, Spring Boot APIs, and data layers.
- Build scalable backend services with Spring Boot, including REST APIs, integrations, and performance tuning.
- Establish and enforce practices for code quality, testing, security, and observability.
- Improve CI/CD processes, support deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and reduce operational toil.
- Deploy and operate applications in cloud environments with monitoring, logging, and incident response.
- Collaborate with product, platform, and DevOps teams while providing technical leadership and mentoring.
- Use and evaluate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation.
- Guide responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including secure handling of sensitive data and validation of generated outputs.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Strong backend expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Hands-on frontend expertise with ReactJS.
- Understanding of HTTP, JSON, API versioning, error handling, and integration patterns.
- Strong experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL, and ORM technologies including JPA or Hibernate.
- Backend testing proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, and integration testing.
- Frontend testing proficiency with Jest and React Testing Library.
- Understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and agile development practices.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to validate and refine their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, and engineering resiliency and security expectations.
- Preferred experience with microservices, distributed systems patterns, Kafka or RabbitMQ, and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Dynatrace.
