Responsibilities
- Own a defined Forward Deployed Engineer technical workstream from implementation through validation and handover.
- Build, configure, integrate, test, troubleshoot, adapt, validate, document, and hand over AVEVA solutions using real customer environments and data.
- Resolve non-routine technical issues involving APIs, integrations, data flows, configuration, performance, security, and deployment.
- Support demonstrations, acceptance testing, performance checks, validation, and production-readiness activities.
- Create reusable configurations, connectors, templates, AI patterns, implementation notes, and troubleshooting guidance.
- Clarify requirements, dependencies, risks, feasibility, and implementation needs, while coordinating with adjacent teams and guiding less-experienced contributors where appropriate.
Requirements
- Typically 5-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent demonstrated capability in industrial technology implementation and technical project delivery.
- Hands-on capability with AVEVA solution configuration, integration, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and handover.
- Working knowledge of AVEVA products, customer domain workflows, industrial data, customer systems, APIs, cloud/edge, security, performance, and deployment constraints.
- Practical awareness of customer operating models, workflows, KPIs, and value drivers in industrial settings.
- Ability to work within established architecture, standards, methodologies, governance, and engagement priorities.
- Sound judgment in resolving non-routine technical issues and escalating risks early.
- Clear customer-facing and cross-team communication skills.
- Experience developing AI agents, skills, tools, or plugins using an agentic framework, preferably MAF.
- Practical awareness of AI/ML and generative AI use cases within technical, safety, and governance guidance.
- Accountability for quality, schedule, documentation, testing evidence, reusable outputs, and reliable handover.
