Base Salary
$250k - $413k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve architectures that support massive data volumes and complex global revenue workflows.
- Build scalable, secure, highly available distributed applications and configurable data pipelines.
- Develop infrastructure for revenue ads integration, payment settlement, cash reconciliation, partner invoicing, and revenue partner workflows.
- Design financial data models by understanding upstream and downstream systems and their effects on adjacent systems.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, cross-functional engineering teams, and Revenue Finance to deliver business-critical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience building business-critical, reliable, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, server-side engineering, distributed data processing, software design, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or another JVM language, plus gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with Kafka-based pub-sub and stream processing technologies such as Spark or Flink.
- Ability to solve large-scale data challenges and build secure, scalable, highly available distributed applications.
- Professional experience or interest in financial and monetization solutions and understanding of the modern ad technology ecosystem with a fintech focus.
- Ability to work independently, deliver innovative solutions with minimal guidance, and produce results in complex cross-functional projects.
- Strong belief in test-driven development and a bias toward action.
