Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation solutions for VMware, IBM PowerVM, and enterprise storage infrastructure.
- Build automated workflows and provisioning and deployment pipelines.
- Evolve backup infrastructure using Veeam Backup & Replication, including automated policies, recovery testing, and immutable backup solutions.
- Implement advanced monitoring, observability, and AI/ML-based AIOps tools for proactive anomaly detection.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
- Design, optimize, and automate CI/CD pipelines connecting development and operations processes.
- Analyze performance, logs, and workloads to improve reliability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, systems, and development teams on DevOps best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of VMware, particularly vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Solid experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Good knowledge of enterprise storage solutions including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS.
- Scripting skills with Python and/or Bash.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes including GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability solutions.
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level for work in an international environment.
