Responsibilities
- Architect and lead complex, multi-service features from concept through delivery.
- Set standards for code quality, testing discipline, performance, and production reliability.
- Break down large-scale initiatives into actionable engineering milestones.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical partnership.
- Resolve complex customer issues through root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
- Champion AI-native engineering tools and establish reliable prompting and review practices.
- Influence architectural decisions, hiring standards, and technical direction across the organization.
Requirements
- More than 8 years of professional experience building and shipping production software or n-tier services at scale.
- Exceptional object-oriented design skills with deep expertise in Java and/or Python and Go.
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end systems, cross-service integrations, and extensibility frameworks.
- Strong technical writing, architectural leadership, communication, and peer influence skills.
- Experience with microservices and resilient distributed systems.
- History of mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience includes data connectors, ETL pipelines, metadata extraction frameworks, Kubernetes, Docker, JDBC, ODBC, Snowflake, Databricks, SAP, data catalogs, Airflow, and RDBMS data modeling.
