Responsibilities
- Integrate and adapt NVIDIA DRIVE parking software on customer development and production vehicles.
- Perform vehicle bring-up, software flashing, data logging, testing, recorded-data replay, and functional validation.
- Triage and analyze issues across the parking chain from sensor inputs through perception, fusion, environment modeling, and maneuver behavior.
- Configure and tune parking software for different vehicle platforms, sensor configurations, vehicle geometries, and low-speed maneuvering requirements.
- Implement targeted C++ or Python adaptations, debugging tools, and analysis workflows to resolve customer integration and functional issues.
- Collaborate with customer and NVIDIA engineering teams worldwide to identify root causes, deliver program-level solutions, and drive product corrections.
- Communicate technical findings, tradeoffs, and next steps clearly to customers and distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of ADAS software development and triage experience, including in-vehicle activities.
- Strong programming skills in modern C++ and Python.
- Proficiency in Linux or QNX-based embedded environments.
- Ability to isolate system-level issues using log analysis, recorded-data replay, and in-vehicle testing and drive them to resolution across multiple teams.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Clear technical communication skills and comfort working in a customer-facing field environment.
- Valid driver's license and readiness for vehicle testing and international travel.
- Preferred experience includes parking or low-speed maneuvering software, perception, fusion, environment modeling, camera- or ultrasonic-based parking systems, ADAS vehicle-platform integration, automotive series programs, tracking, filtering, temporal association, fleet-data triage, corner-case analysis, AI/ML workflows, or deep neural-network development and integration.
Benefits
- NVIDIA offers competitive compensation and benefits.
- The role is based in Stuttgart, Germany and involves customer-facing field work, vehicle testing, international travel, and collaboration across Europe, the US, APAC, and India.
