Responsibilities
- Be on-call for a production system to assist customers during issues.
- Build innovative capabilities in a storage service.
- Design interactions for atomicity and idempotency in distributed systems.
- Deploy and generalize infrastructure across different cloud platforms.
- Adapt to changing customer requirements and navigate ambiguity.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in building and operating distributed systems.
- Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
- Ability to resolve workplace disagreements with a focus on customer needs.
- Proficient in debugging complex issues across multiple systems using metrics and logs.
- Familiarity with consensus mechanisms, system scaling, and API design pitfalls.
- Knowledge of system performance optimization and latency considerations.
