Responsibilities
- Build, deliver, and maintain scalable, reliable, secure infrastructure platforms and products.
- Provide L2/L3 support, monitor infrastructure and application performance, and manage incidents, problems, and changes.
- Develop infrastructure as code, automation, scripting, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security controls, and release automation.
- Design and operate AWS cloud, container, operating system, database, API, and distributed-system environments.
- Plan and execute OS patching cycles and maintain compliance with security, audit, governance, regulatory, and risk requirements.
- Build and optimize GitLab and Jenkins pipelines, including blue-green and other deployment strategies.
- Maintain runbooks, knowledge-base articles, support documentation, and infrastructure records.
- Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, security, platform, and QA teams on integrated solutions.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, team growth, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, infrastructure as code, automation, design governance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Shell scripting, Datadog, Python or Java, Docker, containers, GitLab, Snyk, Qualys, Jira, Confluence, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, and NPM.
- Strong AWS experience, including EC2, ECR, EKS, S3, CloudFormation, and networking.
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and writing and deploying Helm charts.
- Experience building production services, distributed systems, shared platform capabilities, APIs, RESTful services, integration contracts, and data or domain models.
- Knowledge of database design and SQL, Windows and Linux operating systems, and awareness of AIX.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, token exchange, policy systems, delegated administration, identity data modeling, authentication, authorization, and identity management.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, security controls, release automation, blue-green deployments, and ITIL-aligned processes and SLAs.
- Ability to use AI engineering tools and familiarity with MCP, agent skills, and other agent integration concepts.
- Experience contributing to technical designs and proof-of-concept work and turning ambiguous requirements into production-ready solutions.
- Working knowledge of iOS development principles and mobile ecosystem standards.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions, collaborate across teams and time zones, and support other engineers through feedback and knowledge sharing.
