Responsibilities
- Plan and perform functional, technical, and performance testing of trading software and the theoretical price engine.
- Organize software testing responsibilities, scope, and schedules.
- Create and update test models and scripts for test automation.
- Coordinate software testing with functional and operations teams.
- Support ad hoc inquiries for simulation and production environments.
- Apply quality management techniques, review performance, conduct audits, and report on outputs.
- Act as the final quality gateway for software fixes, enhancements, changes, and releases.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Financial Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.
- Expertise in functional, technical, and performance testing of software.
- Strong expertise in option pricing models and derivatives-market functionality.
- Experience with test scripting and test automation.
- Experience with Python scripting is preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, lateral-thinking, problem-solving, motivation, and flexibility.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Czech.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
