Senior Software Engineer - Test Automation (Digital Trials)

Responsibilities
- Create automation test plans and review them with Development, Product Management, and Functional QA
- Design and implement API, UI automation, and test frameworks
- Develop and maintain automated regression testing artifacts and support release testing
- Use Git, Jenkins, and JIRA in daily CI/CD-related work
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve test automation problems
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with global development, product, QA, DevOps, and scrum teams
- Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in software testing, test automation, and/or software development
- Strong experience with Java and object-oriented methodologies
- Strong experience with automated test frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber
- Experience testing RESTful APIs, HTTP web services, JSON/XML, and web-based applications
- Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and JIRA
- Experience with data analytics and log analysis tools such as Kibana and Elasticsearch
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar field
- Knowledge of QA processes, testing approaches, software development practices, source control, build processes, release management, and deployment
- Preferred experience in life sciences or healthcare, Android and Mac platforms, Kotlin, Swift, Java, and React, along with hackathon or open-source participation
