Base Salary
$127k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, cloud-native enterprise applications.
- Architect and implement microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed applications focused on performance, resiliency, and availability.
- Develop responsive front-end experiences using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and containerized architectures.
- Partner with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive architecture reviews, code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Mentor software engineers, provide technical leadership, and influence architectural decisions.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies including Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, and enterprise AI platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Six to eight years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications on Azure and/or AWS with containerized deployments.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Rancher, Istio, Apigee, Jenkins or CloudBees, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of software design patterns, application architecture, resiliency, security, observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks including Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Knowledge of AI/ML application development using technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, MCP, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives in Agile and DevOps environments and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
