Base Salary
$132k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement detections for AI-specific threats across distributed infrastructure, training datasets, model weights, and inference systems.
- Build automated response playbooks and orchestration workflows that contain and remediate threats with minimal human intervention.
- Coordinate security incident response across Cloud, AppSec, Enterprise, and AI Security teams, including forensic investigations and executive communications.
- Proactively hunt sophisticated threats across GPU clusters and distributed training environments and reproduce AI-specific vulnerabilities.
- Develop detection-as-code frameworks, onboard telemetry, and create dashboards for model security, GPU activity, and sensitive research-data access.
- Translate threat research into production detections and provide operational security support for infrastructure, software security, and AI research teams.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical AI security incidents.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response, with experience securing AI/ML infrastructure, high-performance computing environments, or distributed systems at scale.
- Strong programming skills in Python, KQL, SPL, or similar languages for detection logic, response automation, and security tooling.
- Experience with SIEM platforms, detection technologies, and forensic investigation techniques in complex distributed environments.
- Demonstrated ability to detect novel attack techniques, automate incident response, protect high-value intellectual property, and conduct proactive threat hunting.
- Ability to collaborate across security, infrastructure, and AI research teams with strong ownership and self-directed execution.
