Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex software applications.
Gather requirements and prepare business and system requirements documentation when needed.
Write efficient, testable code and develop test plans, test data, test automation suites, and quality assurance procedures.
Integrate software components, troubleshoot and debug existing systems, and resolve hardware, software, and communications malfunctions.
Participate in code reviews, deployment processes, change controls, continuous improvement, and technical debt reduction.
Provide application software development services and technical support for moderately complex situations.
Collaborate with engineers, data engineers, business users, project managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Document system procedures, mentor junior engineers, promote reuse, and apply software development best practices.
Complete required training and participate in ongoing professional development.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
2–6 years of experience in software development.
Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle and experience developing both front-end and back-end software.
Knowledge of C#, Java, HTML, Node.js, CSS, JSON, Angular, JavaScript, application frameworks, and containerization.
Knowledge of cross-platform interoperability, platform toolkits, and multiple toolkit features.
Experience resolving hardware, software, and communications malfunctions and understanding their business impact.
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
