Base Salary
$123k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and scale the CI/CD platform for safe and quick engineering deployments.
- Own the software/firmware build tooling at scale, including remote caching and execution.
- Operate and scale a runner fleet across on-prem and cloud clusters.
- Maintain reproducible build and CI environments using Nix.
- Instrument CI health with Prometheus metrics and Grafana dashboards.
- Reduce developer cycle time through various optimization strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Deep experience operating Bazel or similar hermetic build systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Production experience with GitLab CI or a comparable CI platform.
- Expertise in operating UNIX systems, including Linux and Mac.
- Familiarity with Nix for reproducible environments.
