Base Salary
$123k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and scale the CI/CD platform for engineering teams across brain implants, surgical robots, BCI applications, clinical systems, full-stack services, and infrastructure
- Own software and firmware build tooling at scale, including remote caching, remote execution, and target identification and selection
- Operate and scale runner fleets across on-premises and cloud clusters and across Mac, Linux, embedded devices, and hardware-in-the-loop fixtures
- Maintain reproducible build and CI environments with Nix
- Instrument CI health using Prometheus metrics, Grafana dashboards, and automated alerting
- Reduce developer cycle time through pre-commit tooling, caching strategies, test sharding, and build graph optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Deep experience operating Bazel or similar hermetic build systems
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes
- Production experience with GitLab CI or a comparable CI platform, including pipeline architecture, runner fleet management, and custom executor integrations
- Expertise operating UNIX systems, including Linux and Mac
- Familiarity with Nix for reproducible environments, or equivalent experience ensuring hermetic, cacheable builds
- Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop testing setups is preferred
- Experience with build-system and CI tooling in a monorepo context is preferred
