Base Salary
$75k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define business processes and gather functional and technical system requirements with clients
- Design, develop, test, and implement custom software solutions on the Appian platform
- Work across the full software development lifecycle in collaboration with client technical teams and business users
- Launch relational data models in production and develop APIs integrating with multiple systems
- Identify AI use cases and implement RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative model solutions
- Drive customer adoption by enabling clients to independently build process applications
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
- U.S. citizenship is required for candidates considered for public sector roles
- Ability to gather functional and technical requirements and define business processes with clients
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, database design, data modeling, and SQL
- Experience with software testing practices, automated test suites, and continuous integration frameworks
- Experience integrating systems through REST, SOAP, JDBC connections, and web services
- Preferred familiarity with AWS, artificial intelligence, analytics, machine learning, Google Cloud, Application Integration, Database, Developer Tools, Management & Governance, and Elastic Containers
- Strong communication, problem-solving, continuous-learning, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel 20% or less annually
