Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, reliable, reusable, and testable Python server-side applications and RESTful APIs.
- Build web applications with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Write unit and integration tests and maintain high code coverage and reliability.
- Integrate databases, optimize performance, and manage schema lifecycles through code.
- Automate CI/CD, monitoring, infrastructure management, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA specialists, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex system issues, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional Python development and software engineering experience.
- Expertise with Django, Flask, or FastAPI and strong RESTful API design skills.
- Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, asynchronous programming with Python asyncio, and concurrent execution.
- Experience with PyTest, Unittest, or Mock libraries and unit and integration testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or similar platforms, and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and ORM libraries.
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog for monitoring and logging.
- Experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
