Responsibilities
- Build scalable backend services, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, toolchains, and internal platforms for developer workflows.
- Improve reliability, performance, scalability, and observability across distributed systems.
- Partner with engineering teams to analyze AWS spend and implement cost-effective cloud infrastructure strategies.
- Monitor system performance and health and proactively resolve issues before they affect users.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
- Build or extend Model Context Protocol servers for developer productivity and system automation as applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps-related roles.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code tools, CI/CD tools, containers, and orchestration technologies.
- Strong programming background in Python, Go, or C++.
- Ability to understand ambiguous goals and translate them into software requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred experience includes autonomous vehicles or robotics, monorepo development tools such as Bazel, on-call support for P1 and P0 systems, and AI/LLM integration.
