Base Salary
$176k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot critical software solutions across multiple technical domains.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software code meets design constraints.
- Write secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms integrated with dependent systems.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets, develop visualizations and reporting, and use insights to improve applications and system architecture.
- Support testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintenance in a large corporate environment.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and emerging-technology events.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in Computer Science concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python or Java.
- Familiarity with cross-asset and cross-business platforms.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
- Preferred qualifications include financial-services and IT-systems knowledge, intermediate to advanced Python experience, AI development tooling, and exposure to cloud technologies.
