Responsibilities

Prepare refactoring ideas and oversee high-level technical design.
Act as a senior developer and technical leader within the team.
Support product owners and business stakeholders on technical requests and delivery.
Explain technical concepts clearly to product owners and business stakeholders.
Verify that new components and processes align with approved architecture.
Participate in daily development work with Java developers.
Work with the Java Competence Lead and other Tech Leads to optimize processes.
Promote operational excellence and perform team-related administrative tasks.
Conduct technical interviews.

At least 7 years of experience in Java development.
Experience with Java 21, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, MySQL, Kafka, and SOUP.
Experience designing clean REST APIs.
Hands-on technical leadership experience is preferred.
Experience in the fintech industry is a plus.
Experience with Spring Boot migration is nice to have.
Hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design or hexagonal architecture is preferred.
Experience decoupling monolithic applications is preferred.
Very good English proficiency.

Remote work with occasional visits to the office.
