Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize secure, scalable B2C Commerce components for web and mobile customer journeys.
- Build reusable commerce features and integrate B2C Commerce with order management, inventory, customer data, payment, logistics, and internal systems.
- Tune queries, caching strategies, and page rendering to improve performance during high-traffic events.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and collaborate with product, business, UI, and UX partners.
- Refactor existing code and configure promotion engines, pricing rules, and catalog structures.
- Implement unit and integration tests and support continuous, reliable releases.
- Monitor production environments, investigate incidents, and implement preventive resilience improvements.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and deployment procedures.
- Guide junior developers through code reviews and B2C Commerce engineering best practices.
- Ensure solutions meet data privacy, accessibility, security, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Evaluate evolving B2C Commerce capabilities and recommend improvements tied to business outcomes.
Requirements
- Approximately ten to thirteen years of progressive software development experience, including significant enterprise commerce implementation work.
- Deep hands-on expertise with B2C Commerce platforms and high-traffic consumer-facing applications.
- Strong server-side programming, scripting, and data modeling skills.
- Experience with integration patterns and API design for payment gateways, logistics partners, and internal systems.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration pipelines.
- Working knowledge of cloud hosting, content delivery networks, and application performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with secure coding, data protection, and common web vulnerabilities.
- Clear communication, collaborative problem-solving, and adaptability in a hybrid work environment.
