Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, reusable, and scalable test strategies and automation frameworks.
- Create and maintain test plans, specifications, automated scripts, test artefacts, and quality reports.
- Manage test environments and generate reliable test data for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Execute UI and API automation using modern testing frameworks.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Use approved AI-enabled tools and automation responsibly to improve productivity, test delivery, coverage, and software quality.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, Scala, or JavaScript.
- Experience designing and building test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on experience with UI and API automation and a solid understanding of quality engineering practices.
- Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools responsibly with appropriate human oversight, governance, quality, and testing standards.
- Preferred experience with modern software engineering practices and programming languages.
- Preferred performance and load testing experience using JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent tools.
- Preferred knowledge of DevOps practices, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred experience supporting cloud migration programmes and modern application delivery.
